Education: B.A. from Lesley University; Masters of Science in Teaching from St. Thomas Aquinas College

Manuela has been a tutor for over 10 years. She has taught high school for five years, as well as tutored college courses such as literature, creative writing, anatomy and physiology, philosophy, and psychology. After receiving her Bachelors Degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Manuela Received her Masters of Science in Teaching from St. Thomas Aquinas College where she acquired the skills and methodology to successfully teach and guide students to success.

Manuela specializes in ACT English and Reading, as well as SAT Verbal and Reading with a strong background on the writing section of both exams. She prides herself on her abilities to recognize a student’s strengths and weaknesses and to individualize a tutoring program to fit students’ needs. Furthermore, Manuela’s ability to relate to students and make learning fun has been a core catalyst of her teaching career.
