Education: B.A. English Literature and Creative Writing from Binghamton University; Master’s Creative Writing from New School for Public Engagement; Master’s English Literature from The University of Maryland College Park

Years Tutoring:  20 Years

Tonianne started tutoring while attending School of the Holy Child Rye, working with middle school and younger high school students. She continued tutoring throughout her four years at Binghamton University, specializing in AP English Literature, AP English Rhetoric, AP Art History, AP U.S. History, writing, SAT Verbal, and ACT Verbal. In addition to tutoring high school students, she also tutored her fellow university classmates, working particularly on grammar rules and essay structure.

In May of 2012, Tonianne graduated from Binghamton with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. She has continued to tutor high school and elementary school students and worked for an entertainment blog as a music and theater writer. In May of 2015, she graduated from The New School for Public Engagement with a Masters in Creative Writing. Immediately following graduation, she worked as an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College in NYC from August 2015 to August 2018 where she was a professor of Writing and Literature. From 2018 to 2020, she attended The University of Maryland College Park, where she attained a second Master’s, this time in English Literature. She currently teaches middle and high school English at Ursuline School New Rochelle.
