Education: B.S.E. in Acoustical Engineering and Music from University of Hartford
Years Tutoring: 10 Years
C.J. grew up near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where as a kid he was occasionally caught doing math for fun instead of sleeping. He enjoyed competing in (and winning) numerous math competitions, and even spent a few years more recently helping write questions for similar math competitions. Today he applies his math talents as an acoustical engineer and as a tutor for JST. C.J.’s other big life-long interest has been music. Today you can find him regularly performing with Radio Daze (an 80s dance/rock cover band) and directing and arranging for Here to Sing (a community rock/pop choir), among miscellaneous other musical endeavors.
In addition to math, C.J. tutors physics, chemistry, music theory, and computer science/programming. He will help you understand the reasoning behind those equations or learn the speedy tricks to help you get through that timed test.
